RAKU WITH DOVER POTTERY STUDIO
1. Take a raku class at Dover Pottery Studio

Before registering for a firing date, you must have completed the raku class at Dover Pottery Studio. This is to increases your chances of having successful raku pieces and to ensure safety at the event.
2. Register for a firing date

Firing times are 2.5 hours hours long and will take place at 93 Coffeetown Road, Deerfield NH. please bring your glazed pieces with you on the day of your firing.
The firing is pay-per-piece, with a minimum of 3 pieces per artist.
3. Gather combustables

We will provide pine shavings. The rest is up to you! Bring whatever combustable material you want to use in your raku firing.
Safety equipment will not be provided. Please bring your own heat resistant gloves and wear closed toe shoes.
